Discover the Grove is our four-session membership class designed to help you discover who we are, what we believe, and what it means to be a committed member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Whether you're new to Walnut Grove, considering church membership, or simply wanting to learn more about our beliefs and mission, Discover the Grove is the place to start.
Throughout these four sessions, we'll explore the biblical foundations that shape our identity as a church.

What Will You Discover?

Session 1: The Bible - Our Foundation

We believe the Bible is God's inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word. Discover why Scripture shapes everything we believe, how we worship, and how we live as followers of Jesus Christ.

Session 2: Salvation - Our Hope

Salvation is by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We'll explore the glorious truth of the Gospel and how salvation transforms our lives, our spiritual growth, and our relationship with the church.

Session 3: The Church - Our Family

God has not called us to follow Christ alone. He has brought us into a family of believers. We'll discover the biblical purpose of the local church, the importance of meaningful membership, and our responsibility to grow and serve together.

Session 4: The Family - Our Responsibility

The family is a gift from God and a vital part of His design. We'll explore the biblical foundation of the family and the responsibility to strengthen our homes through God's Word and faithful discipleship.

Our desire is not simply for you to learn about Walnut Grove, but to understand how God calls every believer to be actively involved in the life and mission of His church. We want to help you find your place in the body of Christ, grow in your understanding of Scripture, build meaningful relationships, and discover opportunities to serve and share the Gospel.
