At Walnut Grove, we believe discipleship is more than attending a worship service on Sunday morning. While we gather as a church family to glorify God through Scripture-saturated worship, we also recognize that God has called us to grow together in biblical community.

That's where Small Groups come in!
Small Groups are an essential part of our discipleship pathway, providing a place where believers can open God's Word together, build meaningful relationships, encourage one another in the faith, and grow in Christlikeness.
Our desire is simple: That every believer would be rooted in God's Word, connected to His people, and equipped to live on mission for His glory.

Why Small Groups?

We believe spiritual growth happens as the Holy Spirit works through God's Word in the lives of His people. Small Groups provide an intentional environment where that growth is encouraged through:

Bible-Centered Teaching

Growing in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word and learning to apply its truth to everyday life.

Biblical Community

Building genuine relationships with other believers who encourage us to follow Jesus faithfully.

Prayer And Care

Walking alongside one another through life's joys and struggles, bearing one another's burdens, and lifting each other up in prayer.

Intentional Discipleship

Helping one another grow in spiritual maturity as we seek to become more like Christ.
Small Groups aren't simply another program on the church calendar. They are an opportunity to live out the biblical call to grow together as the body of Christ.

From Worshiping Together To Growing Together

Our discipleship pathway begins as we gather to worship Jesus Christ through the preaching of His Word, prayer, singing, and the ordinances. But our desire is that worship would lead us into deeper relationships and intentional discipleship.
We gather in worship as one church family, and we grow together through biblical community. Whether you're a new believer, have followed Jesus for many years, or are looking to build deeper connections within the church, we want to help you find a place to grow.

Something New Is Coming In January!

We're excited about what the Lord is doing at Walnut Grove! Beginning in January, we will be expanding our Small Group ministry to include both on-campus and off-campus groups, creating more opportunities for our church family to gather around God's Word, build meaningful relationships, and grow together in Christ. Our prayer is that these groups will become places where disciples are strengthened, relationships are deepened, and believers are equipped to take the hope of the Gospel into their homes, neighborhoods, and communities.
