Putting the Gospel first

Good morning, and welcome to Walnut Grove Worship Online! We're so glad you've joined us today.


This morning, Pastor Micah opens God's Word to Philippians 1:12–18, where Paul shows us that the Gospel cannot be stopped by difficult circumstances. Though Paul is imprisoned, he sees his suffering not as a setback, but as another opportunity for Christ to be made known. What appeared to be an obstacle to the Gospel was actually being used by God to advance it.


As we worship together, we pray that the Lord would help us trust His sovereign purposes in every circumstance and give us a greater desire to see Christ proclaimed. Even when life doesn't unfold the way we expect, God is still at work, His Gospel is still advancing, and Christ is still worthy to be proclaimed.
